UDSM: Admission Into Undergraduate And Postgraduate For 2019/2020
ADMISSION INTO UNDERGRADUATE AND POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES FOR 2019/2020 ACADEMIC YEAR
The University of Dar es Salaam invites applications for admission from qualified candidates into its undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for the 2019/2020 Academic Year. In this academic year, the University will offer a total 88 undergraduate programmes and more than 189 Postgraduate Programmes leading to the award of certificates, diplomas, bachelor degrees, postgraduate diplomas, masters and PhD. All requisite information and guidelines to take the applicant through the application stages are provided from the respective Instructions tab. ie. UNDERGRADUATE tab for those applying for Certificates, diplomas and bachelor degrees andPOSTGRADUATE tab for those applying for postgraduate-diplomas, masters and PhD .
Applicants are reminded to register their names as they appear in Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education (CSE) and Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (ACSE) including index numbers where prompted.
Undergraduate applicants with foreign certificates are required to first present their certificates to the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) for verification at: www.necta.go.tz.. NECTA will issue them letters showing equivalent grades, copies of which should also be uploaded together with other certificates. Equivalent applicants are advised to obtain a special unique number from National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) for verification and applying in the system at: www.nacte.go.tz.
Postgraduate applicants with Foreign Certificates should have their certificates verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) at: http://faas.tcu.go.tz/login.php upon receipt of admission letter and prior joining the University of Dar es Salaam for studies.
