Description
Qualified, committed, experienced and up-to-date radiographer required. The ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team of specialists is essential.
Responsibilities
- Performing X-ray procedures according to the order form completed or received through the hospital system and reporting results through the same system.
- Perform ultrasound according to doctors’ orders and report the same through the electronic system.
- Conduct Continuing Education to his/her junior staff.
- Involved in Education of Medical and other staff regarding diagnostic imaging procedures as appropriate
- Perform quality control checks within the department
- To perform any other duties as assigned by his/her
manager/supervisor.
Educational Requirements
- Ordinary Diploma in Radiography
Experience Requirements
- Experience with strategic planning, financial and department budget management.
- Experience developing and monitoring, reporting and evaluating radiography activities.
- Experience with mentoring and coaching, particularly in a
cross-cultural setting. - Experience in operating machines such as CT Scan .
Additional Requirements
- A thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the Tanzanian health care system and health policies.
