TAMISEMI – President's Office – Regional Administration and Local Government (PO-RALG)  President's Office – Regional Administration and Local Government. The role of the Ministry is to coordinate and supervise regional development management and administration.

The Permanent Secretary of the Office of the President PMO-RALG, Prof. Riziki Shemdoe has approved the transfer of 1544 staff to exchange work stations in the Local Government Authorities.

Prof. Shemdoe said that the Office of the President - PMO-RALG continues to work on transfers to exchange centers and for those who have requested non-exchange transfers from July, 2021 - January, 2022 to the District Councils should continue to wait while the evaluation in all councils continues.

He also called on all Local Government Authority officials who submitted their OR-PMO-RALG transfer applications for the period January 2018 - June, 2021 to re-apply to relocate to those areas but not to the Cities, Municipalities and City Councils.

Such transfer applications must comply with all transfer procedures as set out in Transfer Circular No.2 of 2018.

In addition, he urged staff who have received transfer permits to wait for letters to their Councils and not to come to the Office of the President-PMO-RALG

  • Permanent Secretary Prime Minister’s Office PMO-RALG for relocating staff from One council to another outside the Region;
  • Regional Administrative Secretary for the transfer of staff from one Council to another other within the Region and;
  • The Director of the Council for staff goes from one station to another within the Council.
